Model variants

Sport Saloon
The four-door sport saloon was the first body variant. With its purist design, this Taycan signaled the beginning of a new era. From the front, the electric sports car appears particularly wide and flat, with strongly curved fenders. The silhouette is defined by the sporty roofline that slopes down towards the rear. The side section with its strong sculpting is also characteristic. The slim cabin, a strongly retracted C-pillar and the pronounced shoulders of the fenders result in an emphasis at the rear that is typical of the brand.

Cross Turismo
The Taycan Cross Turismo has all the strengths of the Taycan, such as superior performance and a long range. In addition, there is more headroom for passengers in the rear and a maximum load volume of over 1,200 liters behind the large tailgate. The off-road design elements include wheel arch trims, independent lower sections at the front and rear as well as the side skirts. In combination with the off-road design package, the Cross Turismo has special flaps at the corners of the front and rear bumpers and at the ends of the sills. These provide a striking appearance and also protect against stone chipping. All-wheel drive is standard.
Model designations
The “4” in the model designation stands for models with all-wheel drive.
At Porsche, S stands for “Sport”: a more powerful version which, in addition to the extra sporty engine, also includes improvements in equipment compared to the basic model.
GTS refers to a further improvement of the S models with even more power and expanded equipment.
A turbo is the top model, the limit of what is possible, a technological pioneer. The fully electric Taycan and Macan in particular show that the type designation is no longer tied to the use of an exhaust turbocharger. Turbo does not stand for a technology here, but rather identifies the most powerful variants.
GT refers to the extremely sporty version of the basic model, built for motorsport, approved for the road.
Do you already have a configuration?
Would you like to transfer your configuration?
If you choose a new model within the same model series, most of the equipment in your current configuration can be transferred to the new model. In some cases, equipment is only available for certain models and may therefore not be adopted for the new model.
