What is a Porsche Code?

The Porsche Code is an 8-character code made of letters and numbers that opens a saved vehicle configuration. With the code, you can reload and share your configuration without needing an account. It does not replace an order.

How do I create a Porsche Code?

In the Configurator via “Create Porsche Code”. You receive a code and a link. Keep the code safe, as it belongs to exactly this configuration.

Can I keep the same Porsche Code after changes?

No. After changes, create a new Porsche Code. The new code applies to the current configuration; the previous one remains for the earlier configuration.

What is the difference compared to saving in the profile?

The Porsche Code stores a configuration and lets you share it without signing in. “Save in my profile” stores it in your Porsche ID. Only available in markets with login.

Do I need a Porsche Code to contact a dealer?

When you contact a dealer via the Configurator, a Porsche Code is automatically created for you and the dealer. When contacting via your email client, it helps the dealer if you include a Porsche Code for your configuration.

Why can’t my Porsche Code be loaded?

Check for typos (8 characters). The code must exist and match the selected market. Temporary issues or changed model data can cause loading to fail. Try again later or create a new code in the Configurator.
