Porsche Active Ride

The high-end chassis Porsche Active Ride is an active chassis control system on all four wheels for considerably increased comfort and performance. In the air suspension shock absorbers, tensile and compressive forces can be generated individually on each wheel as required. The result: an even greater balance between comfortable travel and sporty driving dynamics.

For improved comfort:
- Comfort entry height adjustment: quick raising and lowering of the entire body when opening and closing the doors
- Increased stability of the vehicle body on uneven roads
- Active cornering dynamics: reduction of lateral forces for the occupants by tilting the vehicle towards the inside of the corner
- Acceleration and braking comfort: reduction of longitudinal forces for the occupants by lowering/raising the vehicle on the front/rear axle

Head-Up Display

High-quality, full-colour projection of relevant driving information in the driver's field of vision. The projection allows the information to appear in front of the vehicle. The display position can be adjusted for the driver's height and seat position.

The driver is less distracted and can pay more attention to the road. For example, information on the driving speed and navigation is displayed. In addition, depending on the vehicle specification, traffic signs, hazard warnings and Sport Chrono information is displayed. The displayed content can be individually adjusted.

Note: Use of the Head-Up Display is only possible to a limited extent with sunglasses with polarised lenses

Traffic sign recognition

- Traffic sign recognition uses a camera and navigation data to detect speed limits, no overtaking zones (start and end) and infer local traffic codes (from boundary signs). Information is displayed in the instrument cluster
- The cornering notification feature supplements the traffic sign recognition function with navigation-data-based direction information in advance of tight corners

ParkAssist (front and rear) with visual and audible warning

Parking aid with ultrasonic sensors integrated into front and rear aprons. Audible notifications of the distance to an object located to the front and rear of the vehicle.

Reversing camera

In addition to the standard ParkAssist (front and rear), a colour camera image with superimposed dynamic guidelines and distances from potential obstacles displayed on the screen of Porsche Communication Management (PCM) facilitate controlled reverse parking and manoeuvring. Lane Keeping Assist

Warn and Brake Assist incl. Pedestrian protection

Detects the area ahead of the vehicle. Within the system limitations, an impending frontal collision with other vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists can be detected both in the urban and extra-urban speed range.

The system warns the driver visually, acoustically and if necessary through a braking jolt. Where required, the system can support the driver's braking or initiate partial or full deceleration in order to reduce the collision speed or prevent the collision in some circumstances.
