Body types
The four-door sports saloon was the first body variant. With its purist design, this Taycan signaled the beginning of a new era. From the front, the electric sports car appears particularly wide and flat, with strongly curved fenders. The silhouette is defined by the sporty roofline that slopes down towards the rear. The side section with its strong sculpting is also characteristic. The slim cabin, a strongly retracted C-pillar and the pronounced shoulders of the fenders result in an emphasis at the rear that is typical of the brand.
The Taycan Sport Turismo is aimed at those who want to combine the everyday practicality of the Taycan Cross Turismo with the “on-road” dynamics of the Taycan sports saloon. The Taycan Sport Turismo shares the sporty silhouette with the Taycan Cross Turismo with its sloping roofline and functional format. In contrast to its model brother, however, the Taycan Sport Turismo dispenses with off-road design elements.
The Taycan Cross Turismo has all the strengths of the Taycan, such as superior performance and a long range. In addition, there is more headroom for passengers in the rear and a maximum load volume of over 1,200 liters behind the large tailgate. The off-road design elements include wheel arch trims, independent lower sections at the front and rear as well as the side skirts. In combination with the off-road design package, the Cross Turismo has special flaps at the corners of the front and rear bumpers and at the ends of the sills. These provide a striking appearance and also protect against stone chipping. All-wheel drive is standard.
